  • Location:Kenilworth
  • Sex:Male
  • Breed:Other / Mixed Breed
Buddy is a large and lively lad looking for an active home with a family who share his love for the great outdoors! He adores being outdoors and will likely want to spend more time in the garden than the house! Buddy is a bit of a clever clogs and will do anything for a bit of cheese, though his new family must be aware that he is intolerant to chicken. Any time left on his own will need to be built up while he settles in and he will need things to keep his big, clever brain busy when he is by himself. He takes a little while to form friendships but once he gets to know you, he has a cheeky personality and is full of fun. He can be strong on lead so will need owners who are comfortable holding him and continue his ongoing training. He is an amazing boy with so much to give, he has been a pleasure to care for and will make a fantastic addition to his new home.

Buddy is a sensitive big boy who will need plenty of time to settle in his new home as he has experienced lots of change so far in his young life. He finds new environments a bit spooky at first and will need his own secure garden, preferably with external access so that he’s not pressured to go through the house to go outside. He will also need a space that gives him easy access to outside, such as a garage or a conservatory, so that he can take his time getting used to his new home. Buddy is looking for a forever family who are able to come to the centre for several visits to meet him and build a relationship with him before he goes home. Buddy requires an adult only home with minimal visitors, especially for the first few weeks while settling, and is undergoing training on meeting new people which his adopters should be willing to continue to help encourage Buddy to make new friends successfully. He will also benefit from access to quieter walking areas away from the hustle and bustle of life. Buddy will need to be the only pet in the home for now but loves to have tolerant doggy walking friends that match his play style when out and about. Buddy is not suitable to live with cats or small furies as he does love to chase.
