Frankie - male Crossbreed

Frankie is a big puppy who has a bit of a sensitive side, so will need to meet his new family a few times before he goes to his new home. He will need an active adult only home, and a family with an interest in training to help channel his puppy energy and teach him some basics. Frankie is a big boy and can be strong on lead, and does have history of mouthing when he’s feeling anxious, so his new family will need to be confident with a dog of his size and strength, and willing to help him gain his confidence at a steady pace. He loves his toys and especially enjoys a game of tug, which helps him build a bond and channel some of his energy. Frankie can also gets himself worried in situations that involve intense handling, such as grooming and vet visits, so will need a hands off approach while he gains his confidence, and is learning to wear a muzzle for intense handling in return for lots of treats! He has also been uncomfortable when people have approached him while he’s settled in his bed, so will need a resting area away from busy areas of the house – our training team will go through this with you. Frankie enjoys his doggy friends so could potentially live with another dog in his new home, as long as they can tolerate his OTT playstyle! Although Frankie has been in a home he will need some help with his housetraining. He has history of being okay to be left for a couple of hours in his previous home but this will need to be built up slowly again so that he doesn’t get too overwhelmed. Frankie must have access to his own secure garden where he can play and learn lots of new things! He’s such a handsome boy with so much potential, he just needs some time and a patient family who can help him with his anxieties.
