  • Centre:Dogs Trust
  • Location:Kenilworth
  • Sex:Male
  • Breed:Other / Mixed Breed
Moose is a big, beautiful lad with so much potential, and will need a really committed new home with really patient new owners. Once he gets to know new people he is full of fun and a constantly makes us laugh with his goofy personality. He is an energetic, playful boy who is great fun to be around, and he LOVES his toys (a good game of tug is his favourite!). Moose doesn't always like to share his favourite toys, but because he is a clever lad he is learning to swap! Moose was previously housetrained and was good to be left for a few hours - this may need refreshing in his new home. If you are looking for a fun, bouncy boy that needs a quiet, understanding home to help him become the amazing boy we know he can be then look no further! He is a firm favourite with us at Dogs Trust Kenilworth, and is great lad who will make a very rewarding companion.

Moose is an amazing boy who is looking for a really active home with people with an interest in training, and experience with GSD’s, lurchers or other large breeds. He is looking for an adult only home with minimal visitors while he settles in. Moose can get quite uncomfortable for intense veterinary handling and does need to wear a muzzle when he sees the vet. He is also learning how to wear his muzzle while out on a walk as he can be worried meeting some new people. Access to quiet walking areas would be beneficial, and a secure garden is a must for zoomies and sunbathing! Since coming into us Moose’s dog to dog skills have massively improved and he could live with another, confident similar size dog after a successful meet at the centre (as long as they can tolerate his OTT play style!). Potential new adopters will need to be able to commit to multiple visits with Moose to get to know him, and have some sessions with our training team and his favourite carers to learn all about his ongoing training.
