Max - male Australian Kelpie

If you like smart dogs and intend to do lots of fun training, then Max would be right up your street! He is so keen to learn and picks things up really quickly! Although he doesn't like to share his home, he does enjoy having walking buddies so once he's settled into his new life, making a few regular doggy friends would be great for him. He really enjoys his walks but needs to walk in quiet areas well away from traffic and other hustle and bustle. We know that in the right home Max will be a very loyal and loving friend.

Max is a super smart 2yr old Australian Kelpie who, true to his breed, loves his training. He’ll need to be the only pet in an adult only house as he needs a good, predictable routine to stick to. His home will need to be within a 30-minute drive of the Leeds rehoming centre (as he is still working on car training) and in a peaceful, more rural area as traffic noise upsets him. He'll also need a secure garden for off-lead exercise and to help with his housetraining.
