Stella - female Crossbreed

Stella is a 9 year old terrier who likes to sniff about, and especially loves finding hidden treats that have been left for her. She's not a fan of other dogs and can often be rather watchful for them on walks, but she enjoys training and will check in with her handler very well, so she has lots of potential to learn to ignore them. Stella doesn't cope at all well when left by herself and is going to need a family that can provide her with constant company, or are willing to work on building up her alone time slowly. She just loves playtime, especially squeaky toys, but doesn't like you to try and take them from her, so best to have a few when playing so that she doesn't get too possessive. She is very clever and picks things up quickly, so would really benefit from a home that wanted to do some extra training with her. Stel has recently had an operation to repair her cruciate and we were fortunate enough to find her a foster home to recuperate in. She's doing very well, and has taken back to home life very quickly. She's been lapping up attention and has been keen to get out for exercise, even carrying her lead to the door as a hint!

Stella needs a home with no other pets and where someone is there most of the day. She is house trained and can live with children of high school age.
