Effie - female Foxhound

Effie must have access to her own secure garden where she can explore and play her favourite games with you, and as she is sensitive to new people she may benefit from having her own area in the home to go to where she can chill out away from visitors. Her forever family will need to be willing to commit to meet effect a few times at the centre, so you can build a relationship and become the best of friends! Effie is a bright and active girl who is on the search for her forever home. She’d love to find a family with a keen interest in training and can keep her clever hound brain busy! Her new owners would benefit from experience with hound or be willing to do lots of research to learn all about their quirks. Effie is an independent girlie so will need to be the only pet in the home, however she could have calm doggie pals out on her walkies. She will need a quiet adult only home with minimal visitors, especially whilst she’s finding her paws and settling in. Effie has previously been housetrained however she’s not a big fan of being left on her own, so will need owners that can be home with her most of the day and can help her learn to relax and settle. Effie is a sensitive girl and can find the outside work a bit overwhelming so she’ll need easy access to quiet peaceful walks and would prefer a peaceful home environment. Effie is a clever girl who loves her food so is making lots of progress with all her training and is learning to wear her muzzle out and about on her walks.
