Axel - Male GSD Cross ( German Shepherd / Alsatian)
£150 estimated adoption fee
- Centre:Dogs Trust
- Breed:German Shepherd Dog
Axel is a handsome 7 year old Shepherd cross. He is a clever boy and very foody which will help with his ongoing training. He likes to carry a toy when he goes out on his walks and would love to have an active home where he will get a lot of training to keep his brain engaged. He is currently working on his doggy social skills with our behaviour team. Axel is looking for a quiet adult only home to continue his training. Direct access to a private secure garden is essential, as well as easy access to walks where there aren't too many other dogs. He must be the only pet in the home, and will need some further training which our behaviour team will advise on. Axel will need a few meets at the Canterbury Rehoming Centre when restrictions allow this, and his new family must live within 45 minutes drive. *Due to current restrictions, I can't go to my forever home just yet, but you can contact the rehoming centre to register your interest. When restrictions ease, and if we're a suitable match, you will be able to discuss me in more detail with my carers at the centre. Thank you so much for your interest in me! * If Axel sounds like your perfect match please get in contact to express an interest. Please note if you rent your property you must be able to provide written permission from your landlord to keep a dog to complete the rehome process. If we receive high levels of interest you will only hear back from us if we are able to proceed with your application. We will conduct a rehoming interview with successful applicants and home visit via video. Access to emails and video technology will be essential for this process. In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
