Lucky - Female German Shepherd Dog (GSD)

05-04-24 Lucky is a beautiful older GSD who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She is good with other dogs but doesn't enjoy being bounced all over so would prefer any dogs in her new home to be as calm as she is and be happy to spend time in her company. Lucky has never learned how to walk on a lead so doesn't know anything about the simple pleasures of going for a stroll, or a hike or a trip to the beach to feel the sand between her toes or hear the waves of the sea. She has never lived indoors so doesn't understand anything of treats, cuddles, move nights or rides in the car. Now is her time to start her life afresh, she is free from her old life and can start over again. She is no longer a puppy so will take a while to get used to such changes and experience the things that she never even knew she was missing. She will need patience and understanding as she start to comprehend a whole new way of life. Can you imagine how strange it must feel for her? Bit by bit she will start to see the world through new eyes and start to give her heart to humans for the first time. She will need a home where any children are older and experienced with large dogs. She will need to learn about house training, how to walk on a lead and other such home skills. As a GSD she is smart, loyal and will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation so a GSD savvy home will be best for her. Lucky has seen our vets and is receiving some ear treatment at the moment.
