Blake - male German Shepherd Dog

Blake is a smart boy who really enjoys his training sessions and will need adopters to continue this in the home. Scent games and games of fetch will be lots of fun for him. Plenty of mental stimulation will be needed for Blake to keep him busy. Blake will make a fun addition to a family home that enjoys training sessions with their dogs.

You won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Blake is a sweet young lad who is looking for a family that will be able to dedicate plenty of time to him and his training. He will need to be the only pooch in the home and to be walked in quiet areas while is doggy social skills are worked on as he can react to dogs and be unsure of how to behave. It would be ideal if Blake could have a secure garden to have some off lead play time as he will need to be kept on lead while he is out on his walks. He will need to have someone around with him to help him settle into his home life and introduce any time spent alone very gradually as he has struggled to be left in the past. Blake is a bouncy boy and is going to be a big lad so will be best suited to living with older teens who are aged 15 and above that are used to dogs who can't always keep all four paws on the floor.
