Skye - female German Shepherd Dog Cross

Skye is a German Shepherd cross who is 8 years old and makes us laugh every day. She is an amazing older lady; a real love bug and a bit of a couch potato! Play is also an option though, she loves to chase a ball or play tuggie as long as her favourite humans are sharing the moment with her. She also has a fab history of being in a home, and was happy being left for longer periods of time and settling nicely. Skye is currently working really hard to get more comfortable around the car, but is too worried to get in at the moment. She’s super clever; she’s remained housetrained through her stay with us and knows lots of tricks already including ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘paw’, and ‘wait’. We think she’s a princess and we can’t wait to find her perfect match.

Skye is a funny, friendly girl who would love to find a quiet home. She can be shy when it comes to meeting new people so is looking for an adult-only home with few visitors. Her intros to new people are normally as simple as a quick walk together and then her amazing personality starts to shine through. She doesn’t really like other dogs but is perfectly manageable out-and-about and walks well on lead, she just prefers to keep her distance and will need to be the only pet in the home. She will need a secure garden where she can have off-lead play and relaxing sniffs. She is on medication to help with some pain from a historic injury, but if this is the only barrier to you considering her we would love to discuss this with you.
