Helga - female German Shepherd Dog

Helga's new family will need to be willing to meet her here at the centre a few times and be happy to get involved in her ongoing training with our training and behaviour team.

Helga is a gorgeous lady who is full of energy! She's looking for an active home where she can learn lots of new things, with owners who can keep her both mentally and physically stimulated. Helga is a sensitive girl who can find the world a bit overwhelming, she struggles when there is lots going on and in busy built up areas. For this reason she'd like a quiet peaceful home away from busy road with access to quiet walks. Helga is incredibly bright and clever and loves to learn, she'd really benefit from a home where she can continue to put her brain to good use. She enjoys treats and puzzle feeders, which really help to keep her busy. Helga is looking for a home without any other pets as she isn't a bit fan, she can be vocal out and about on walks when she sees other dogs however she's working on her dog interactions here at the centre and is making lots of progress. Helga is amazing girlie who will made a wonderful companion for someone who can match her zest for life! Helga can be left for a few hours home alone and was housetrained. She could share her home with older sensible children of 14+ who can understand her anxieties around new and unfamiliar things and give her space when she needs it.
