Cruz - Male German Shepherd Dog

An absolute stunner who thrives on learning new things such as scent trails and ground works, to stimulate his young and active mind. Cruz is extremely intelligent and has already mastered all the low impact games we teach our dogs, including lickimat chasing and search for the toy. This has created a lovely bond between him and the staff members and shows what a loyal companion he will be to a new owner.

Cruz has started to socialise with other canine friends whilst out and about, but does need a home as the only pet to give him some space to unwind and relax. Being so young he needs an owner who can increase his time being left gradually and support him with building his confidence.

Cruz has hip dysplasia and recently undergone surgery on both Cruciate ligaments and is under our Veterinary Support Scheme. Any medication or check ups will be funded by Leicester Animal Aid so any new owner must live locally and be flexible to attend his hydrotherapy and physiotherapy sessions.
