FILA - Female German Shepherd Dog

This gorgeouse girlie is sadly looking for a new home.

At the tender age of 41/2 she is said to be good with older children, ok with dogs when off lead but a little reactive when on lead, unknown around cats and livestock.

She was very excited to see the volunteer and did jump up but no aggression just exuberance at having a visitor. 

Fila lived with another GSD until his passing around 18 months ago. 

Fila will bark in the garden if she hears or sees other dogs or foxes, but what dog doesn't. She is quiet in the home. 

She can be a little possesive of her toys if around other dogs but no possesiveness around humans. She is used to being walked with lots of dogs as her owner used to be a dog walker. 

Fila is said to love the vets !!

The volunteer says..... fantastic, clever friendly girl. She is a petite girl but gorgeous.She greeted her with a sashay of her tail and kept her company whilst filling out the forms. Did a lot of investigating of the volunteers ears, her pen and finally found trewats in the volunteers pocket which she took very gently. 

Fila is super alert when out, hoping that there was the possibility of chasing foxes . She did pull but not excessively. There was a pug on a lead getting into a car and she barked at him but she easy to move on. A little lead reactive but no other flaws that were seem.

An almost disney dog that will need some work. With a little time and patience she could become a fabulous companion.
