  • Centre:German Shepherd Rescue
  • Sex:Female
  • Breed:German Shepherd Dog
Summer ois nearly 3 and looking for her forever home.

She is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed.

When the volunteer arrived she was in the garden playing with the children. As Summer caught sight of the vcolunteer she bounded over to say hello twisting around her and putting her head through the volunteers knees., before running away and then running full pelt back to do the same thing again. One very happy young lady.

One thing that must be noted is she is VERY preotective of her home so must not be allowed near the front door when people come.

greeting in the home she is absolutely fine.

Out walking she wears a muzzle beacause of an icident (which will be explained if interesed).that happened last July. She walks well on a lead, used to go to cafes and pubs with the family. She is a very friendly girl when out and likes to say hello to all, human or dog. She said hi to an irish wolfhound very nicely. We have a video of her running with other dogs.

Obviously every dog is different out of there comfortable environment. We can only tell you what we know about the birdseye view of meeting this gorgeous girl. In calm confident hands with time and patience to adjust we are surte that she will be the best companion. Anyone interested must understand she has been through a lot in the last year and will need to bond within the home and get to know her new adopters and then slowly introduced to her new surroundings out of the home.

In short Summer is a lovely dog with a sweet disposition. she is extremely friendly with all, unless she is pro=tecting her front door / gate, as long as the new owners know to keep her safe she really is almost a disney dog.

We feel whoever has the oppurtunity to adopt Summer will be extemely lucky
