Sanka is a working lines sable short coated young lady who due to owners moving needs a new home.

SDanka has lived out doors since a pup. She has a heated kennel and run. She has had very little socialisation and although is not aggressive doesn't really understand how to say hello to other animals.

The volunteer thought that she was a lovely young lady who was keen to say Hi. She does jump up in her excitement but no aggression seen.

She is said to be good with children

She has not been socialised so she would need to be the only dog in the home.

We weouldn't recommend any other small furries as she is a typical working lines with a prey drive. She would excel working and having her mind stimulated, and we believe would enjoy it.

She is possessive of her food and her balls. This could be because there is very little enrichment in her life. She will be fine with her ball if she knows that it is play time. She does know commands but hasn't had much time spent training.

She walks well when out, but insists on saying Hi to every human that she meets but her exuberance is not really appropriate so the owner doesn't allow greetings. She is ogff lead in a secure field most days and will come back especially if a ball is invoved.

Sanka also suffers from some sort of dermatitus but again this could be her diet or environment, being left alone and the sensitive areas become her stress points.

In short this beautiful girl with some patience and input will be puitty in your hands. She is keen, bright intelligent and fgull of the joys of spring. All she needs is some guidance and boundaries, most of all attention and time spent with her.

How can you resist, no she isn't perfect but the reward of giving her what she needs are limitless.
