Queen Bee - Female Golden Retriever

02-05-2024 Queen Bee is a very sweet natured girl who is a little timid at the moment but accepts a gentle fuss. She is easy to handle and does approach you with her kennel friends but quickly runs away again. Queen Bee already walks on a lead although she is nervous and has seen very little of the world so adopters will need to be mindful of this and go at her pace, introducing her to new environments safely. In a home with lots of love and kindness it won't take long for this gorgeous girl to gain confidence and come out of her shell. She has never lived in a home before so will need help learning new skills such as housetraining. Queen Bee will need an active home with plenty of enrichment, polite socialisation to the world and positive reinforcement training to ensure she becomes a well rounded girl. Queen Bee adores other dogs and does lose her confidence when away from them so she will need a home with at least one kind confident resident dog to help her gain confidence in her new life when she feels unsure. She will need a secure garden and travelling system as she is a flight risk especially in new places or when spooked. Queen Bee is a really sweet natured girl who just needs love and kindness to help her become the happy soul she should be.
