Quiz - Female Golden Retriever

02-05-2024 Quiz is a sweet, happy and bouncy girl when around other dogs and is a little timid at the moment when around people but once she knows you she enjoys a gentle fuss. She is easy to handle and already walks on a lead although she has seen very little of the world so adopters will need to be mindful of this and go at her pace, introducing her to new environments safely. In a home with lots of love and kindness it won't take long for this beautiful girl to gain confidence and come out of her shell. She has never lived in a home before so will need help learning new skills such as housetraining. Quiz will need an active home with plenty of enrichment, polite socialisation to the world and positive reinforcement training to ensure she grows into a well rounded girl. Quiz does have thickened skin on her ears which will be looked at by our vets. Quiz gets on well with all other dogs and is quite excitable around them, she will need a home with at least one kind confident resident dog to help her gain confidence in her new life when she feels unsure. Quiz will need a very secure garden and travelling system as she will try to find a way out when spooked or scared. Quiz is a really delightful girl who will show the world her happy personality once she is settled in a home.
