Piper - Female Greyhound

Hello there, my name is Piper and I am a 4-year-old female Greyhound that is looking for a new home. I am an ex-racing greyhound, so I am on the lookout for a retirement home to show me how great people can be.

I am quite a shy girl, but I have been placed in a kennel with Breeze, another female greyhound that is showing me how great life can be! I am getting a lot of confidence from her, and showing myself to be a really sweet girl.

I can live with older children that could take things slowly with me and earn my trust by giving me space when I want it. I would really like to live with another greyhound or similarly sized dog, as I do get a lot of confidence being around other dogs. I can't live with cats as my racing-instincts kick in and make me want to chase them!

I am not used to being left alone, so I will need there to be someone around that can teach me how to cope with being on my own. I will also need help with toilet training, as I am used to going to the toilet in my kennel!
