Yitty - Female Irish Setter cross Poodle

06-04-2024 Yitty is a kind soul who has came to us from a breeder to find her forever home. Yitty arrived extremely underweight and scared. After a couple weeks we realised she was pregnant. She shortly had 10 puppies but after a week developed a really horrible case of mastitis meaning we had to take her from the pups to be able to treat her properly. She came straight home into foster care. Yitty has now fully healed but lost the weight she had been able to put on whilst she was unwell so we’re slowly building her back up now but she is still very underweight. Yitty is very nervous of humans and she is a potential flight risk so needs a really experienced adopters with a secure home. Yitty gets on well with my 8 dogs of all sizes and my cats. She must be allowed on furniture, sleeping on the sofa and bed with me is how she is beginning to enjoy being in our company. Yitty is learning to walk on a harness/lead. Yitty likes to have dogs next to her to eat with her, otherwise won’t eat so the resident dog(s) need to be okay with this. She has a PETS passport travel doc.
