Milo - male Terrier (Jack Russell)

Milo is a 9-year-old Jack Russell X. He originally came into our care when his owner passed away. He was rehomed and for the most part he was fabulous but had ongoing issues around the dogs of family and friends. His adopters loved him to bits but agreed that he would be happier in a home where he won’t encounter other pooches as often. Milo was housetrained so while a quick refresher might be needed it shouldn’t take him long to pick it back up again. He travels well in the car and is happy being left for a couple of hours once settled.

Milo is a friendly older lad who is looking for a quiet home of his own. In kennels he can be a bit worried when first meeting people, but he is loving and caring when he is given time. Milo has never lived with children before and as an older lad would prefer not to be around young children but should have no problem living with sensible teenagers. He struggles around other dogs, and while he has been able to share walks with smaller, calm dogs Milo does get overwhelmed very easily. Milo wears a muzzle for walks as a precaution. He will need to be the only pet in the home and would love a secure garden of his own for lots of off-lead play. Milo has some issues with his skin that are currently being treated with Apoquel. We will discuss this in full with any successful applicants.
