Murphy - male Retriever (Labrador)

Murphy is a lovely friendly chap, who, despite being 10 years old, still thoroughly enjoys playing ball games and getting lots of attention from his foster carer, especially getting a good scratch and going for walks where he can sniff through the grass. Once he is satisfied that he has received enough attention he will happily lie on the floor having a snooze. He is happy being left alone for a few hours so far and is housetrained. With being an older gentleman Murphy is on daily medication for pain relief which can be discussed more with the team at Ballymena. Murphy is an absolute gentleman who is looking for a retirement home where he will be given lots of love and attention in his older years. Don't let his age fool you, as he will play all day with a tennis ball! A quieter home is ideal and he can live with dog savvy children who understand that Murphy wants to take life at a slower pace. Pending successful meets here at the Rehoming Centre he could potentially share his home with another calm dog. Murphy's home should ideally have a safe and enclosed garden space for him to potter around in and enjoy some play time.
