Hunter - male Retriever (Labrador)

Hunter must have his own secure garden where he can safely play and explore. Hunters new family will need to be willing to commit to a few meets here at the centre, where our training and behaviour team can teach you all about him and get you involved in all the training he's doing!

Hunter is a beautiful boy on the search for his forever home. He's a really clever lad who loves to learn new things! Hunter can be an anxious boy and doesn't really like sharing his things. He's looking for an adult only home who can understand his worries and would be happy to get involved in all his training here at the centre. Hunter is happy to be left for a few hours on his own and was previously housetrained, but he might need a little refresher once he's settled into his new home. Hunter would really benefit from a rural and quiet home without too many visitors where he wont be too pressured by the big outside world. Hunter is learning to wear his muzzle for when he sees the vet as he's really not a fan of too much handling, but he's learning this means lots of tasty treats! He could share his home with another calm and confident dog following a successful meeting at the centre.
