Jax - male Retriever (Labrador)

Toys and treats are Jax's favourite pastime, bringing joy and excitement to his day. They serve as a source of comfort and enrichment, offering moments of happiness amidst his journey of growth. Our training team will be on hand to support Jax’s new family before and after he comes home and we believe with the right family committed to his development and well-being, Jax is sure to thrive and become the loving, confident companion he's destined to be. Together, you'll embark on an incredible journey of love, patience, and transformation, creating a bond that lasts a lifetime.

Please meet Jax, a two-year-old Labrador! Despite his initial apprehension towards the world, Jax's affectionate and playful nature shines through. Jax is what you might call a "project dog," as he is not yet confident when walking outdoors and will need time and patience to become comfortable outside. Therefore, he won't be able to be walked outdoors until he feels secure and ready and a secure garden is essential for Jax, providing him with a safe space to explore and play without worry. This sweet boy is very under socialised, he seems to like other dogs so much that he doesn’t know how to be around them. Our training team are teaching him his manners around other dogs and with on going socialisation, Jax could live with another dog in the future but will need to be the only dog in the home for now. Jax can live with older secondary school children, who understand his needs and respect his boundaries and he has lived with cats before.
