Deefa - male Retriever (Labrador)

Deefa is a 4 year old Labrador who came to us due to change in working hours. Leaving hours will need to be built up slowly over time due to showing separation anxiety and being vocal when left alone. Good in the car in the previous home. Super playful with toys and loves tennis balls. Can be snatchy with treats, he loves food enrichment toys to keep him mentally stimulated. Extremely bouncy boy who gets over excited easily and can forget his size. Lovely chap who will make a lovely addition to his new home.

Deefa is ready to search for his forever home. His is a whirlwind of energy seeking an active home who can channel all of his energy. He needs an adult only home with no visiting children this is due to his mouthy behaviours and bouncy nature. Deefa is very strong on the lead and will need ongoing loose lead training in his new home. Super smart boy who needs all his basic training continued in his new home. Deefa could live with another dog of similar size pending a successful dog introduction here at our Centre. Experience with high energy dogs would be beneficial. He is booked in for x-rays to check his joints and may come with ongoing medical in the future.
