A gorgeous 4 year old Lurcher, Anton is a big, fun bundle of love who adores a fuss and groom and will pretty much do anything for a tasty treat! He loves playing with toys, the squeakier the better and he likes a game of tug with a soft toy. Anton is a super smart boy who is so keen to be involved in what you are doing and is very eager to please so doing training with him should be a lot of fun. He loves walks in nice places and explores confidently and he will make a great adventure buddy for you and will help you get your steps in every day! Anton will make a loving, upbeat, fun and entertaining addition to your home. Anton is looking for his new home and would love to find owners with patience and time to teach him all about life as a loved member of a family. He will need all his basic training and housetraining and so will need his own private and secure garden. Anton would like a home with no other pets so he can relax and any children in the home will need to be confident with big bouncy dogs and be 14 years old or over. Anton could potentially have walking buddies that match his bouncy, boisterous play style. He could be left alone for short periods of time but would like lots of company when he first goes home to help him settle in to his new life. He is a little bit unsettled in the car, but settles eventually so would benefit from minimal, short car journeys. Anton will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home to build a strong bond so please bear this in mind when applying. He will need visits from our behaviour team once he goes home so adopters will need to live within 90 minutes driving distance from the Canterbury Rehoming Centre so please bear this in mind prior to applying for him. If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted.
