Pumpkin pie - female Lurcher

Pumpkin Pie is a gorgeous girl who can be shy on first meet but once she has a relationship with you loves to have a play and then will curl up on the sofa. Pumpkin has been working on her dog socialisation here at the centre and is gaining confidence but would prefer to be walked in quieter areas and will need to be kept on lead when out in public. She will need patient, understanding owners who will help her adjust to home life. We do not know much about Pumpkins history before coming in to us but we have found her to be a sweet girl who quickly attaches to her favourite people. She loves her food and her squeaky toys! She will need her own private garden to help her settle in to her new home environment. Pumpkin takes her time to learn to trust you but once she does she will adore you forever and ever. She is looking for a patient home to continue her skills and give her a well deserved retirement home. She will make a lovely companion.

Pumpkin Pie is a 9 year old Lurcher. She is a sweet and sensitive older lady. She is looking for a quiet, adult only home with no other pets. She is looking for experienced owners who can open up her world slowly. She hasn't had the best start in life, and has never experienced the delights of any home comforts before. She was not given the chance to meet new people often and so this lack of exposure to normal things has resulted in new things being very scary for her. Since being at Dogs Trust Pumpkin has learnt many new things, like making new friends without it feeling like a scary thing as well as being given the tools to cope around other dogs . Once settled in a home she will love nothing more than a snooze on a comfy bed in a home to call her own.
