Cloud - female Lurcher

Cloud is around 4 years old and came into our care after being found as a stray. She understandably has some worries and is finding life confusing, so really needs a patient family who will give her plenty of time to settle and not expect too much from her at first. Housetraining will need a little bit of work but she is already starting to get the hang of it. Cloud has spent a short time in a home and struggled being left, so would need this to be built up slowly. She will jump into a car but is restless when travelling. With a little bit of confidence building hopefully she’ll get more comfortable with this. Cloud loves cuddles and walks with her doggy friends, and with the right family will blossom into a really fun and loving companion.

Cloud is a friendly yet anxious girl who would love a quiet home where she can find her paws. She won’t want the hustle and bustle of younger kids in the home, but calmer, older teenagers would be fine. While she gets settled she’d appreciate a home with only occasional visitors, but once she builds her confidence this will likely change, as long as she has her own safe space to retreat to if needed. Cloud could potentially live with another dog, following a successful mix at the centre prior to rehoming. Her new doggy friend will need to be able to let Cloud take things at her pace at first though, just until she gets brave enough to play.
