Pepper - female Lurcher

Pepper is a sweet girl, who can get a little vocal if she feels she is not receiving adequate attention! Pepper is a Lurcher so likely to be a considerable size when she's fully grown. She left us initially as a little pup, but sadly has been returned due to her mouthing behaviour. so her new family must be happy to work on this, and full support will be given by the centre's training and behaviour team. Pepper is going to need lots of physical and mental stimulation so that she doesn't get up to any mischief or make her own entertainment. She loves to meet people and struggles to contain her excitement, so she's begun learning "four on the floor" already. When meeting other dogs, Pepper isn't sure how she should behave. She will give all the playful signals but then jump towards and away from other dogs. indicating that she is conflicted about interacting with them. Pepper would really benefit from having one or two steady, well mannered friends that she can learn from, so she can build on her confidence with other dogs.

Pepper can live with children over the age of 16 and will need to be the only pet at home. her family must be willing to put in all her basic training, and she will need someone at home with her most of the day initially, as she is not fully house trained.
