Dennis - male Lurcher

Dennis is a loving little lad who has had a tough start in his young life. He is looking for adopters who have plenty of time and patience to help him settle in. He is currently living in a foster home where he has been doing brilliantly after an initial mischievous settling in period. Dennis is a clever clocks so would like adopters who are keen on training and can take him on fun long walks. Could you offer gorgeous Dennis a loving home? Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Delightful Dennis is a 1 year old lurcher who could live with sensible secondary school aged children. While he would need to be the only dog in the home he could have dog friends when out on walks but potential adopters would need to help him build his confidence with other dogs and in general. Dennis can be a little unsure at times, but he is a very sweet natured boy who just wants to hang out with his favourite people. Dennis wouldn't like to be left initially and any leaving hours should be introduced slowly in a positive way. Dennis would like a garden to play in and the fencing should be at least 6ft. If you rent your property, please ensure you have written permission from your landlord before applying for a dog.
