Henry is a proper foody, but it's also his greatest motivation for learning. His love for treats will make ongoing training a breeze, and he's eager to please his humans in exchange for a tasty reward. While he may need some guidance in learning how to play with toys, his enthusiasm for new experiences knows no bounds.
Henry is always eager to jump in the car so always ready for whatever adventure lies ahead. Whether it's a trip to the park or a scenic drive through the countryside or to the beach Henry is always up for exploring new places and making cherished memories with his adoptive family.
While Henry may need a bit of work on his basic training, his affectionate nature, adventurous spirit, and unwavering loyalty make him an ideal companion for the right family. With love, patience, and a willingness to embark on new adventures, Henry is sure to blossom into the perfect furry friend for life.

Meet Henry the Adventurous and affectionate Lurcher. Henry's journey began as a stray, but it's evident that fate brought him to us for a reason. Estimated to be around 6 years old, Henry is a charming Lurcher with a heart as big as his desire for new adventures.
One of Henry's most striking qualities is his unwavering friendliness. He is friendly with everyone he meets, making friends wherever he goes. His affectionate nature makes him the perfect companion for those seeking a loyal and loving furry friend.
Although Henry's past is a bit mysterious, it's clear that he'll thrive as the only dog in a loving home. His exuberance and jumpy nature mean he'll be most comfortable with older children, preferably of secondary school age. With a bit more socialization, Henry could potentially become the ideal walking buddy, exploring the great outdoors alongside his human companions.
When Henry arrived at the centre he had a urinary infection which is improving but still requires further investigation and will require a chat with our vet team but don’t be alarmed it does not affect his day to day life.
