Rocky - male Lurcher Cross

Rocky is a sweet boy who loves being around people and getting attention. He enjoys his walks and will zoom around in off lead areas before coming back and curling up in bed for a snooze. He has not shown interest in toys here at the centre, but we are hoping that once he settles into a home environment, he will learn how fun they are! He enjoys taking part in training and is a very clever boy; he knows all his basics and wears his muzzle proudly out on walks, he would really enjoy learning more tricks in his forever home. Rocky is a foodie and really enjoys his treats and will take them gently from your hand, he enjoys a good chew. He is such a wonderful boy who hasn’t been the luckiest with his applications and we can’t figure out why!

With our adoption process you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Rocky is super people orientated and would adore being around people for most of the time in his forever home. Once settled, he could be left for a couple of hours- but this will need to be built up to slowly. Rocky has been positively muzzle trained and he wears it really confidently when out and about. Children in the home need to be over the age of 14. Although Rocky would like to be the only pet in the home, he could have walking buddies when out and about on his walks!
