Lily Longlegs is a very sweet girl who is very loving with her family. Once she knows you well she will ask you for lots of bum scratches and is sure to show you her goofy and playful side! Lily Longlegs is not used to travelling in the car and would like for her new owners to work on this with her. She adores spending time with her people and is not used to being left home alone, she does need someone to be at home with her throughout the day to keep her company. She would like for her new owners to build up her leaving hours at a gradual pace once she is fully settled in her home. She would like her new family to visit her multiple times here at the centre to build a strong bond before heading to her new home. Lily Longlegs is a 2-year-old lurcher. Lily Longlegs is a beautiful girl who is happiest when spending time around the people she knows best. She is a nervous girl who needs time and space when meeting new people and will be shy at first, but once she trusts you she has so much love to give! Lily Longlegs is looking for owners who have previously owned a nervous dog before and can build up her confidence in her new home. She is overwhelmed and worried in new environments and needs owners who are able to allow her time to settle into her home at her own pace. She enjoys going for walks in the peaceful countryside where she can explore at a gentle pace and enjoy the quiet. Although Lily Longlegs is happy to have 4-legged walking pals, she does like to have a few introductions to other dogs first before considering them a play buddy! Lily Longlegs would like to be the only pet in the home and can live with children aged 16 and above. Lily Longlegs would love to have a garden where she can have some off-lead zoomies, play with her family and safely potter around.
