Snoopy - male Lurcher Cross

Super Snoopy is a 2 year old Sharpei X Lurcher who was returned to us to due his dog reactivity. He can be a bit restless in the car, but is housetrained (odd accident to be expected in his new home). His leaving hours will need to be built up slowly over time as he can become vocal and distressed when you try to leave him. He loves his treats takes them nicely but care must be given around super high value food as has guarded previously. Snoopy is super playful and loves to chase toys patiently waiting for his furever home.

Snoopy is an excitable lad seeking an active home who would be willing to channel his energy. He is a bright boy ,eager to learn and super smart. An Adult only home with no visiting children is needed , because of guarding tendencies of both food and toys was seen in his previous home, this has resulted in Snoopy' s status being the only dog/pet in the home and . Due to this he will need ongoing dog socialisation as he can be a worried and vocal at a distance, strong on the lead. Loose lead training would be an advantage. Snoopy is fully muzzle trained and wears a muzzle out on walks, and wears a muzzle in the vets as he is worried in pressured situations when restrained. With the right home and training he will be a rewarding rehome. Previous experience with reactive dogs / guarding is needed as new owners will need to manage these in his new home and continue with all his training. Snoopy will need his new owners to meet him multiples times to build a bond with him before he goes home.
