Lulu - female Terrier (Patterdale)

Lulu may be nine years old but don't be fooled by her greying face, she has bags and bags of energy! She's an incredibly active dog who likes to be out exploring, looking for mice and birds and any other wildlife to bother. Lulu is great with people and loves to chase after toys that are thrown for her. She has taken centre life in her stride and has been lapping up the fuss and cuddles from her carers, on the odd occasion that she stops for a moment! Lulu has been great with the vets and everyone that she's met, and generally she is friendly towards other dogs. She can be very reactive towards them on her lead but once she's said hello she tends to lose interest and chooses not to interact any further. As she's happy enough in her own company, she's better suited to being the only pet. Lulu does not enjoy time without her humans as has been destructive at times when left alone, but if her family are willing to work with her, her solo time can be gradually increased so that she learns it's nothing to fear. Lulu is a smashing dog with bags of personality, but she will need to be kept on lead as she is a risk to wildlife.

Lulu will need to be the only pet and any children in the home must be of high school age. She will require someone at home all the time as she does not cope well when left alone. A secure garden will also be essential, as will help with house training.
