You won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Dina is a full of beans, ambitious little two-year-old terrier with a lot of love to give. Dina is typical of her breed and her ideal home would be one where she is able to fulfil her breed traits. A rural type residence where she can keep rodents at bay would be her dream home. However, don’t let this put you off her, Dina would be as happy in a normal home where she is able to explore for a good few hours on her lead combined with mental, stimulating enrichment. An active home would suit Dina but she does love a good snuggle once she has had her needs fulfilled. Depending on the type of home, she would be equally happy to have a home where she has a suitable outside kennel. She can find strangers and dogs a bit scary so would like a home where adopters are happy to manage her around these things, she is muzzled and kept on lead in public for this reason. Potential adopters should be able to come to the centre a couple of times a week so that Dina can form a positive relationship with them. Once she has that bond she will be their best friend. We would like to do a few home visits with Dina to ensure the environment is a good match for her. Dina will make a wonderful addition to a home looking for a bundle of fun. If you rent your property, please have written landlord permission before applying for a dog.
