Bean - male Rhodesian Ridgeback Cross

Mr Bean is an eight-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback cross. He adores being with you, he is affectionate and loves a fuss and a bum scratch. He is always excited to see you and will mouth with friendly intentions in this way, he is like a big adult puppy. He loves to go for walks and enjoys having a good sniff of his surroundings - like the doggy version of reading the newspaper! He does not mind dogs joining him on his walks who are nice and calm, and happy just to do their own thing without much interaction. Mr Bean enjoys paddling in water. Bear in mind that although most of the time he walks nicely on his lead, he is a big boy, and can be strong on the odd occasion. Mr Bean will sometimes play with toys, he prefers soft squeaky ones. His big love is food. He loves treats, he can be snatchy and is learning a ‘leave’ to help with this. He knows a 'sit', 'paw', and 'wait'. Bean adores home comforts and a nice big cosy bed to snooze on.

Mr Bean is looking for a loving home with adults. He is looking to be the only pet in the home, and we have no history of him around livestock. He would benefit from having a few quiet, calm, dogs to socialise with when out and about. He is friendly and excitable around visitors to the home. Mr Bean is housetrained and once he is in the car, he travels well. He would best suit a quiet home environment and he adores company. Time left alone will need to be built up gradually.
