Heidi - female Rottweiler

Heidi is looking to be the only pet in the home as she isn't a big fan of when dogs approach her personal space. Ideally, her new home would have some access to quieter areas for her to walk in but she is comfortable walking past dogs, socially distanced! This gorgeous girl can be overwhelmed when visiting the vets, which she has worked with our training team on. Heidi wears a muzzle during her vet visits and has a routine which allows her to be seen safely. She does have some pain in her hips which is managed with daily medication but our veterinary team will happily discuss this in more detail with her family prior to adoption. This girl may be a little bit of a project dog and does require some assistance to realise that the world isn't as scary as she thinks it is but she will make a very rewarding dog to the right family.

Heidi is a brilliant girl with so much potential! Heidi favourite thing is to play tug-of-war and she is a big fan of her snacks! She is approximately 5 years old and looking for an experienced home where she can continue to work on her basic training and dog socialisation. We have very limited information regarding Heidi's past, so we have no information regarding how Heidi will be in the home, especially in regards to being left alone, house-training and travelling in a car. She does require direct access to her own secure garden with a 6ft fence so she has somewhere safe to zoomie! Heidi will need to be kept on a lead whilst in public and is looking for an adult only home.
