Paddy - male Terrier (Staffordshire Bull)

Attention all potential adopters, please gather round and meet our Paddy man! This absolute beaut of a dog is our 5-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Paddy! He is a gentle soul, and he can find meeting new people a bit scary but is building his confidence every day. It doesn’t take long for him to become best friends with new people and get all scooty and silly, he especially loves to chase tennis balls and rag around with rope toys. Paddy’s favourite thing to do is cuddle, so if you’re looking for a new best friend to curl up with every evening then this is your guy! He is the cutest lil man and is often found tucked up in bed with his teddies!

Paddy is a very affectionate boy with his well-known people and much prefers the company of adults so would need to live in an adult only home with no visiting children. He is fine to walk around dogs at a distance but can be reactive to dogs up close. Paddy cannot live with cats but could live with birds or small furries if kept seperate. Paddy is not comfortable around people he doesn’t know too well, so he would need have minimal visitors in the home, the ability to separate him from the front door and cannot have an open plan home. Paddy feels most confident in his own space and would adore his own private secure garden where he can run and play with his toys. Paddy will need to be kept on a lead and muzzled when out and about and will also need to be muzzled at the vets as a precaution because he finds it very scary.
