Dakota - female Terrier (Staffordshire Bull) Cross

This lady likes her food and loves to run around with her toys; being a typical staffy soft toys don't always last very long! Dakota knows her basic commands. She has got more to learn and the team here at the centre have set up some training programmes which they would love to show you if you are shortlisted for Dakota. Please be aware that, if your application is successful, a meet will be arranged within 48 hours.

Dakota is a sweet, friendly 3 year old Staffy cross who does like a fuss and just wants to be with people. Her confidence has grown and she has blossomed over the months. Dakota must be the only dog in the home and must stay on lead for her walks. She focuses well when out on a walk however she can pull on the lead and care is needed around other dogs when out and about. She does have a few walking friends, but would prefer walks in quieter areas. She cannot live with cats. Dakota can get over-excited and is best suited to a home where the youngest family members are aged at least 16 years. Dakota is a good girl and will happily jump into the boot with a toy to keep her company on the journey. Any time left at home alone will need to be built up gradually while she settles into her new home. She could potentially be left for a few hours once she's found her feet. Dakota is not considered to be an XL Bully type dog.
