Whisper - Female Schnauzer

22-04-2024 Whisper is a gorgeous but very scared little girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is overwhelmed to find herself here and isn't used to being handled or used to the company of people but once she is in our arms she does settle in time and is easy to handle. Whisper runs away when we approach her and we have to slowly corner her to catch her, she can be a flight risk when scared so she will need a secure garden. Whisper is most comfortable when in the company of other dogs and has never known life without their company. Whisper will need a kind confident resident dog that she can copy around the house, play with and share a bed with the snuggle next to. Whisper has ever lived in a home before so will need understanding adopters who can help her learn new skills such as housetraining and learning to walk on a lead/harness when she is ready. Whiper will need an adult only home that has experience in scared dogs as she would find children too overwhelming at the moment and she will need a calm home that she can thrive in. Whisper does have some patches of hair loss especially on her back which our vets will be looking into. Whisper is such a gentle soul who is still so young and will flourish in a home where she can have lots of TLC and time to come out of her shell. Whisper has a PETs travel document.
