Pippin is a 10 year old Terrier cross. He is a great character and fun to be around, he likes to keep his mind active but equally needs to learn how to relax. Pippin is a sweetheart but can be worried around new people, he will need patient owners willing to give him the time to build a bond who are prepared to visit him multiple times a week until he is comfortable Pippin is looking for a quiet STRICTLY ADULT ONLY home in a rural setting that have experience with nervous rescue dogs. He is looking for a family that has no more than 2 adults living in the home. Due to Pippin being worried he will need to be walked in area's with limited amounts of people and dogs. He would benefit from having his own room to call his safe space when there are visitors, and somewhere he can engage in enrichment activities without being disturbed. Pippin will need new owners who will give him time to settle in and understand that he will need a lot of time spent working towards completing multiple training programmes that our training team will give ongoing support with. For this reason, he is looking for a home that will have limited visitors and no children visiting. Pippin is looking for his new owners to be around most of the day to begin with but could potentially be left for a few hours once this has been built up slowly. Pippin needs to be the ONLY PET in the home. Due to the amount of visits Pippin requires to get to know new people we can only accept applications from people that live within an hour of the centre. Please email [email protected] to register your interest in Pippin During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
