Ritz - male Terrier (West Highland White)

Ritz is a 7-year-old westie who has come to us due to no fault of his own. Ritz can be a stubborn little boy when on lead and tends to pull to the direction he wants to go. Ritz would suit somebody who is willing to take him on varied walks as he loves to explore and sniff! Once Ritz trusts you, he will ask for a little more attention with playing or for more fusses. He is great off lead and will run around with you, once he has gained your trust. Ritz doesn’t do well on car rides so won’t be able to go on many journeys that are too far. Ritz also has a skin issue so does need care and ongoing medication for this.

Ritz is looking for his special home and is ready to live his happiest life. He must live in a quiet adult only home, but he can live with other dogs and cats that are calm natured. A home with plenty of patience and guidance and of course, oodles of love to build his confidence in his new home surroundings is a must. Ritz doesn’t have much experience with being left at home on his own so he will be ideal for somebody who is home majority of the day. Ritz also needs to be in a home that doesn’t have many visitors as he can be a little wary of strangers.
