Ziggy - male Whippet Cross

This stunning lad can be a little worried by some handling so is looking for a patient and understanding family to build his confidence up with this. He would be looking for any children to be aged 16 years and over due to his mouthing behaviours. Due to his excitability, he would benefit from having baby gates in the home to help manage him and have a safe space where he can relax. Ziggy is a wonderful lad with a lot of potential who is excited to work on his training with his new family.

Ziggy is a young and playful lurcher who is looking for a home where he can go for fun adventures! He is a lot of fun and is very friendly to new people and dogs, so could potentially share his home with another dog, as long as they are of the same high energy like him. Ziggy originally came into our care as a stray, he was rehomed and unfortunately found himself back with us due to OTT mouthing behaviours. For this reason, he is looking to have access to a garden with a 6ft fence and have an experienced family, who are home for most of the day. Ziggy is very worried by the car and car travel so his family shouldn't live too far from the centre, and be willing to work on building positive associations around the car. Ziggy could be left for a couple of hours a day, but this should be built up gradually.
