Rex - male Terrier (Yorkshire) Cross

Rex is a 10.5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier. He is an independent chap who enjoys a gentle stroll around the centre, having a good sniff and saying a gentle hello to everyone he meets. We are hoping to find Rex a quiet home where he can become someone's trusty companion.

We are looking for a quiet, adult only home for Rex with understanding adopters who are willing to take their time in understanding Rex and his needs. He would like to be the only dog in the home, although he would tolerate some calm dog friends when out and about providing they arent very OTT with him. Rex loves his toys and food so much that he sometimes he does show resource guarding behaviours so we are looking for a home willing to manage Rex around resources, with advice and support available from our dedicated training team. Rex really loves the people who are close to him and adores a back scratch, so would love a sofa and a friendly face to snuggle up with. Rex is not suitable to be around young children so any visitors to the home would need to be adult only. Once settled, Rex can be left for up to 4 hours.
