He is a sweet yet complicated little chap who is seeking an extra special home where his needs can be fully understood. Delightful little Dinky is always seeking his next adventure, and has a very sharp mind which requires him to be kept busy a lot of the time. Switching-off and taking a few minutes to chill is something that Dinky is yet to fully understand; He believes that by doing so he is likely to miss out on all the fun. Dinky is extremely intelligent and has mastered a lot of tricks; he will show-off his skills if a tasty reward is promised, and also enjoys searching for treats when out and about on his walks. Dinky will be a project pooch for his family, and is seeking a nurturing home where he can be welcomed into a new life, quirks and all! Dinky would like potential adopters to look past his adorable (huge) ears and appreciate that he is seeking a very quiet, rural home. He must live in an area where he will not have to see other dogs, and would like his very own 'kingdom' to explore out in the countryside. An active family who can provide Dinky with ample play sessions and walks will suit him perfectly; even with such tiny legs Dinky could run for miles! It does take Dinky a little time to trust new people, but once a bond has been established he really is a friend for life (and a fun one at that!). Dinky struggles being around other dogs, and will need his home to have no neighbouring pets. He is such a super sweet boy who just needs the perfect set-up to succeed in his new life. Dinky is seeking an adult-only, pet-free home with minimal visitors or disruptions to his daily routine. Anyone looking to offer this bright boy a home must fully appreciate that it will take a while for Dinky to show his true side, and it will be a case of being patient with him whilst he settles into his new home. Dinky's family will recieve ongoing training and behavioural support throughout his adoption and beyond; Our team know that Dinky will make a fantastic little companion if given the right set-up to succeed, and we will therefore be there every step of the way. In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
