Juno - Female Akita
Adoption fee: Please check with the rescue
- Centre:Dogs Trust
Juno is a very special lady looking for a quiet, rural home with extremely patient and understanding owners who can help her to build confidence and learn that the world is not such a scary place. Juno is very worried by people and close handling, so her family will need to take a hands off approach during meets and whilst she settles in to her new home, which could take some time. She will not be suitable to be walked for the forseeable future and as such, will need a large, very secure garden for her outdoor exercise. Juno is 2 years old and can live with young adults over 15 years and MUST live with another similar sized dog. Juno needs time to get to know her new family before she can go home. According to current government guidelines we can start the rehoming process remotely with Zoom and may also organise meets at the rehoming centre. If you are interested in applying to adopt Juno, click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. Juno will be removed from the website when we have identified a potential match. If a suitable home isn't found, we will repost Juno's profile on the website. In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
